4. Seek Medical Attention: Some injuries, like whiplash, may not manifest immediately. Consult a healthcare professional promptly to document any potential injuries, which is important of health and insurance purposes.
    

5. Keep Records: Maintain a file of all documents related to the accident, including police reports, medical records, correspondence with insurance companies, and repair receipts.
